About this Special Issue
• The creation of work environments where healthcare workers feel supported, can speak up when adverse events occur, and become engaged in creating safer environments for patients
• The economic ramifications of psychological safety
• The complexities of measuring psychological safety
• Patient safety culture, speaking-up behaviour, incident reporting, disclosure, or the (often-overlooked) second victim phenomenon
• Interventions designed to enhance psychological safety, especially those harnessing digital technologies.
The Call is open from 07 November 2023 until 08 May 2024.
IJPH publishes Gold Open Access. Article processing charges (APCs) apply. The IJPH’s GLOBEQUITY program offers a limited number of APC waivers for first authors from low- and middle-income countries.
JPH double-blind peer-review and author guidelines apply. Submitted manuscripts must fully comply with IJPH rules for article type, length and format (please consult the information for authors on the IJPH website).
