This study aimed to determine the views of Syrian immigrant women on family planning and unplanned pregnancies. The study was conducted using a phenomenological design, one of the qualitative research methods. The sample group consisted of 15 Syrian married women who applied to a nongovernmental organization providing services for immigrants and were selected through a purposive sampling method. The study yielded four main themes. Theme 1 Meaning of having children: Women see children as the meaning of their lives and the parents' assurance for the future. Theme 2 Opinions on the number of children: Financial concerns and family/environmental pressure are effective factors in having children. Theme 3 Views on family planning: Women have knowledge about family planning methods, but their use of methods is limited due to economic, cultural, and religious reasons. Theme 4 Views on unplanned pregnancies: Women see unplanned pregnancies as "God's will" and do not find abortion appropriate due to their religious beliefs.Cultural, religious, and economic factors significantly affect women's access to and use of family planning services.
